The MPID system is a revolutionary system which is designed to secure and protect the true identity of each individual in an effort to eliminate many forms of identity theft, fraud, and crimes involving personal and organizational data. Unlike similar systems in use by some organizations and government agencies, or those portrayed in fictitious works of art and entertainment, the MPID system is not owned by any government or government agency, and does not provide a means of surveillance, behavioral analysis, tracking, or control over any law-abiding person or group. Instead, it is designed to protect the freedoms, liberties, and privacy of law-abiding people, provide an alternate method of authentication, and facilitate the secure transmission of data at the will of the member, thereby reducing the need for organizations to maintain a copy of such data.
The MPID system was designed by Eric Bewley, CEO of Bewley Software Productions (BSP), Inc., based on many years of research and proofs of concepts. Mr. Bewley, as CEO of BSP, a private company, maintains full ownership of the system, its design, and all work performed as a part of the MPID system. In other words, there is no external ownership, leadership, or control placed over the MPID by any other person, corporation, country or government entity aside from those of any US-based LLC.
At this time, the MPID system is under development by a select team of individuals and past colleagues of Mr. Bewley, all of whom carry or have carried government security clearances in the recent past. As we receive funding, we hope to expand our number of employees in order to bring about the completion of the system more quickly. In an effort to eliminate undue pressure, conflicts of interests, keep development costs, operating costs, and the cost of membership as low as possible, and etc., we are only accepting funding in the form of donations, grants, and organizational discount programs.
