Due to our small development team and limited resources, the go-live date of the system depends largely upon the amount of financial aid received in support of the system.

It is our goal to provide basic system services to all individuals at an annual rate of $12 per person.  Additional discounts may be made available to select groups such as children under the age of 6, and the elderly.  Other allowances will be available for small one-time fees, such as to extend the postal address slots from 3 to 4 entries for one credit (currently equal to $1 US).  Other optional services will be made available over time for an additional fee(s).  Organizations will be required to pay a one-time setup fee and a monthly service fee based on the size of the organization and the number of transactions they expect to place within the MPID system.  The actual cost of individual and organizational memberships will depend largely upon the amount of financial aid received in support of the system.

The system is designed to allow each individual to provide as little or as much information about their identity as they feel comfortable providing, however, there is a minimum amount of information which will be required to establish an identity and receive a unique member ID.  Currently, each individual will be required to provide their full legal name, current residential address, and either a verifiable phone number or email address at which they can receive system alerts and notifications.  In the event that a member resides in an area governed by a government which makes use of the MPID system to provide a national/regional identity, other values may be required.
